Globucel Solution for Infusion is used to strengthen the body's natural immune system to lower the risk of infection in persons with weakened immune system. It is made from healthy human blood that has a high level of certain defensive substances (antibodies), which help fight infections.
Globucel Solution for Infusion has been shown to be effective in preventing infections in bone marrow transplant patients more than 20 years of age in the first 100 days post-transplant. It is used in the treatment of patients where antibody-forming capacity is severely impaired thereby subjecting them to a greater risk of infections. Globucel Solution for Infusion gives you antibodies that your body is not making on its own so you can fight infections. Both children and adults can have this therapy. It is administered as an injection. Your doctor will monitor you for some time after the administration of Globucel Solution for Infusion to check for any side effects.
Globucel Solution for Infusion may sometimes cause side effects like back pain, chills, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), dizziness, headache, nausea, decreased blood pressure, and muscle pain. If you get any of these, or other side effects, or just feel unwell, you should tell your doctor. There may be ways of preventing or reducing these effects.
Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you have any problems with blood clotting and if you have recently had, or plan to have, a vaccination. It is not known whether this medicine is completely safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding so please take advice from your doctor.

| Storage Temperature | 2–8°C |
| Composition | Human C1-esterase |
Celestras 500IU injection is an immunomodulator with an active ingredient called Human C1-esterase inhibitor. It belongs to the medication group known as complement inhibitors. C1-esterase inhibitor is a naturally occurring human protein in the blood used to control inflammation and swelling. Insufficient levels of C1-esterase inhibitor in the bloodstream or malfunctioning C1-esterase inhibitor can lead to angioedema (swelling) with the symptoms of stomach pain, and swelling in the hands, face, eyelids, lips, tongue, genitals, larynx, or feet. This medicine prevents hereditary angioedema in adults, adolescents, and children (six years or above) by increasing the amount of C1-esterase inhibitors in the bloodstream.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Human C1-esterase or its other ingredients. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor if you have or had a history of venous and arterial thromboembolic (blood clotting) conditions. Celestras 500IU injection may increase the risk of infection (virus) as this is made from human blood or plasma. Inform your doctor if you are planning to get a vaccination against hepatitis A or B. Notify your doctor if you have an indwelling venous catheter (a plastic tube facilitates urine drainage from the bladder), atherosclerosis, using oral contraception (androgen), morbid obesity and immobility (have been on bedrest or are unable to move around for a long time). Inform your physician if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant and if you are on a sodium diet, as this medicine contains sodium.
